Get to know some of the farmers and producers bringing a fresh seasonal flavour to the Tauranga Farmer’s Market.
Simply Strawberries
Glenn and his family grow outdoor strawberries just outside of Katikati and have been coming to the Tauranga Farmer’s Market with their beautiful berries since 2015. Fresh, sweet and juicy, you’ll be lucky to get them home uneaten! Maybe grab an extra pack to take this into account.

Te Teko Vegetables
During the summer months Allan has queues lined up for his fresh corn on the cob and sweet watermelon, so make sure you arrive early with your bags ready to fill with a taste of summer. Allan has been working hard in the fields and selling a variety of vegetables and watermelons since 2014. And despite the struggles of flooded fields for a year or two previously, Allan continues to sell at and support the market.
Flame Lily Orchard
Dave has some of the sweetest blueberries around! Grown in Katikati, he has an abundance of these perfect little berries. Alongside his blueberries, he sells ice cream flavoured with his berries and other fruit from his orchard – perfect to enjoy on a hot summer’s day!

K&N Kitchen
Relain and her family have introduced a range of Filipino cuisine to market goers, from pork skewers cooked over hot coals to empanadas and spring rolls as well as some traditional desserts. All handmade and fresh. You can’t go wrong.

Matahui Distillery
Paul and Angela have turned their passion for creating gin and liquors into a multi award winning business. These master distillers have a variety of flavours. Ideal for Christmas or host gifts or, of course, as a drink on a summer evening.

Kaimai Lettuce
Lyn works very hard in her lettuce patch to bring fresh and crisp lettuces, spinach, herbs and more to the market each week. Lyn has belonged to the Tauranga Farmer’s Market since we first opened in 2003, showing her dedication and enthusiasm for supporting locals.
