Looking for that chocolate hit without all the refined chocolate and fat? These easy bliss balls will give you a chocolate hit but are gluten, dairy and refined sugar free. Perfect for a mid afternoon pick me up!

1 cup dates
1 cup nuts (I love using ½ almonds, ½ cashews)
2 tbsp chia seeds
½ cup water
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp cacao

Soak the dates, nuts and chia seeds in the water overnight. Place everything in a food processor and whizz until smooth.

Roll in to 18-20 balls.

Refrigerate until ready to eat.
